Computer-Aided Drafting & Design

BEI utilizes state-of-the-art computer technology in designing and producing the projects. Designs are produced on the latest Dell computers, built for computer-aided drafting performance. Our computer systems are replaced about every two years to keep up-to-date on the latest technology.

Software for the CAD system is AutoCAD by Autodesk. Our civil software is Autodesk Civil 3D. Our building design software is Architectural Desktop by Autodesk. We maintain full software support from Autodesk, and always run the latest version of our software programs. All types of architectural and engineering drawings can be produced with this highly versatile system.

BEI periodically adds new engineering software and hardware to serve our clients' needs.

Construction Management

BEI offers construction management and administrative services. During the construction phase, our firm will administer the contract between the owner and contractor, visit the project at various times to observe the quality of work, and determine if the work is proceeding in accordance with the contract documents. Construction management continues through the completion of the project. At this time, the project will again be reviewed to make sure that all work is acceptable to the engineer.
